Spotted this on the MGOC members forum, there is a guy looking for a MG Maestro Race car, his email is westhorpesarmy@sky.com
I've pointed him in the direction of the race website and this forum, but anyone with an unsold car might want to contact him. Kelv. |

If any one is looking to sell up now is a good time. Ive had 20+ calls about maestro race cars in the last 3 weeks. Ive passed on details for lee, richard and phil but if anyone else has cars for sale let me know and i will piont them in your direction.
Only shame is that bar one or two most of the people just want them for trackdays and not to race with mgoc ![]()

Thanks Ben. I've had a few enquiries, so we'll see what happens.
I spoken to a few people who were only interested in doing track days, which is largely due to funds and partly a concern regarding getting damage at every outing. Whilst the occasional incident will happen, people seem to have the perception that Touring Car style barging and bashing is accepted in the MGOC. They want to race and not spend time fixing unnecessary body damage. I remember that was partly why the Jacko brothers, Steve Bland and Adam (with the black flamed Maestro) moved on. The last straw for Adam was being hit in qualifying. That's 5 lost drivers. It's an expensive form of banger racing when funds are already tight, but what can be done. |
